The lavosh ratio is out of whack !
Yes out of whack

Bit like the prosciutto thrown on top the salad

How cough is the cheese log and surplus lavosh - at least VA’s Mainland pack is proportional re biscuit to cheese ratio … first world issues.
But VA’s Mainland pack is completely non recyclable :(

Other competing products are recyclable.

Rest assured, if they took out one of the lavosh pieces people would complain it was cost cutting! (but agree, it’s one too many pieces!)

The lavosh ratio is out of whack !
Having a decent salt content, the excess lavosh would make for an OK snack, not dissimilar to chips or nuts.

As for the battle between cheese eaten with or without starchy accompaniments (biscuits, bread, etc.), best to err on the too much side than too little (so thank you the packets of lavosh have not started to shrinkflate yet... everyone remembers when the Arnotts water crackers shrunk from 3 crackers per packet to 2...)

Pretty much what we had in June @RB001 - any pics?
Ans welcome to AFF ✈️
Thanks for the welcome - intro coming once I sit a spell (let's say mid-December)
Upon closer inspection, indeed the menu still reads from Jun 24.

Pics and sketch of service timings:

No pic, but service technically started during boarding, with the offer of sparkling water or 'champagne'.

About 15 minutes after seatbelt lights off, time for the aperitivo. Apple juice with the premium Australian salted nuts.

About 90 minutes after pushback, the tray appeared, with the default greens and bread to be selected. I chose the focaccia, which I guess (but cannot prove) was at some stage warm.

I decided to attack that first, and as soon as it was gone, my choice of To Start appeared - Salad of buffalo mozzarella with balsamic roasted capsicum, pickled onions and hazelnut vinaigrette. Definitely not light on the pool of vinaigrette (floaties not provided).

It would take a further 25-30 minutes for the mains to appear, for me - angel hair pasta with broccoli, garlic, pine nuts and chilli. Throughout was what appeared to be a soy-type sauce that was tasted inconsistently throughout the dish. For me, the pine nuts were the stars here. All of the other distractions were removed from the tray at this point.

Approaching 1.5 hours since the cutlery tray appeared, it was removed in preparation for To Finish - I went with the seasonal fruit mostly because this was the end of a brutally long day for me.

And that was all I had in the light - I couldn't have any of the Prior to Arrival options due to my vego status, but likely wouldn't have partaken anyway.

So, offer of PDB did not include champagne, but something else, on this international flight?
Bottle neither sighted nor sampled, so cannot quantify a common misnomer. 🤷‍♂️
With certainty I can say both offerings could be classed as bubbles.
