You can only load via qantascash.com using BPAY or POLI, or via your bank using BPAY, and unfortunately all loads take 2-3 business days to be processed.

Sorry if this has been posted already. QF planning to increase the speed of transferring money onto the card.

I use it for small expenditure that I would have otherwise used cash and got no points. Load $50 every month and it goes.

No real need to "dump" it though ... just leave it as is, as there's no inactivity fee. If you wish, spend the remaining small $ amount at Coles or Woolworths self checkout, and then consider options for future promos :)
Probably right, have been wondering whether to dump or not and what promo they will come up with next. At this stage will probably keep in the hope they will have other promos to try and get us to use the card.

Yes, that was posted on AusBT overnight. A welcome improvement.

Cant be used for trs refunds apparently.
Called qantas asking if merchant deposits / refunds can be paid into the card.
They said no. There goes my last minute cash injection at the airport.
Have to carry an extra card on my trip unless I want a slow process cheque.

But otherwise I don't use it as a normal card. Better points on my amex.

I don't believe in using debit cards. And for now I can do without the additional points. Perhaps if Qantas enticed me a little more. ;)

It is quite useful for me. I've been using it to buy Tiger's flights and pay no CC fee + get QF points :D

Sounds like a great idea. I hadn't thought of doing that.

I think QF Cash usage might go up.
