Perhaps centenary refers to how long it takes to be served...
Just to note, spirits are still served in lounges, it was in the air that they have been removed. Was the look any different when you asked for spirits?
In economy or business class (or both)? It looks like they let you take one home?Available last night on the Brisbane/Cairns flight.

And now the clock has struck midday, I can confirm it's exactly what you'd expect from a James Squire mid-strength lager. A little on the bitter side, quite crisp, not much else - nothing phenomenal but drinkable. Was served with a commemorative coaster.
I tried it about two weeks ago onboard, didn’t have it at the CBR J lounge just prior so can’t comment on exTap quality. I imagine I will partake in one if it’s onboard in about an hour...Just tried this for the first time in the SYD Qantas Club. I actually quite like it! Sure, it's nothing all that special but it's refreshing, bitter and drinkable as others have said.
I wonder if it tastes better when it's poured fresh from the tap, as opposed to drinking it out of a can in the air?
