Qantas Classic Reward Ticketing Delays

Last night i booked a Classic reward AMM-DOH. Points not taken, taxes not charged, ticket not issued. Got an email immediately saying i needed to provide APIS information for everyone on the booking before they could issue the ticket. I did this straight away but this morning ticket still not issued.

I was hoping to never have to call QFF but i think my luck has finally ran out unless someone can give me an alternative?

I need a my OWA re-ticketed due to a flight chnage initiated by AA. Email said I would receive new eticket, I didnt so I called up and spoke to the rudest agent ever, she just resent me the old eticket which has the old now non-existent flight number on it and an old issue date taht pre-dates the flight chnage.

Im stressing that Im going to lose my whole itinerary because QF cant simply issue tickets in a timely manner.

It seems i spoke too soon.

Almost 24 hours to the minute from when i booked the flights the points were deducted, the taxes charged to my credit card, and the tickets issued (i can see an e-ticket number on checkmytrip).

Phew. Thought i was going to have to book a few days annual leave to try and call qantas.
 
And yet been 36 hours since I called and still no e-ticket reissued for flight changes made by the airline not me *sigh*

I think in that case the unchanged sectors should hold ok. Have a look at CheckMyTrip and see if there are ticket numbers assigned to the existing flights that haven’t changed. Had this recently with a SYD-HND-HEL that annoyingly now has an airport change in Tokyo (who knows why finnair would swap HND for NRT). Each time I requested a new “ticket” id just get send the old one with the wrong flight. Eventually it was changed but the other sectors held fine.

I hope you are correct, but am on hold right now waiting to request the updated eticket be sent again.
 
OK some sucess finally, have been emailed a copy of the new amadeus extract which shows that a new ticket was issued today, with an updated ticket number and the changed flight. All is well again and I can get back to booking theatre tickets.
