My two-year group-coordinated membership is about to expire. I am no longer with that organization. Does Australian Frequent Flyer have a similar group scheme to transfer to. I paid around AUD 570 for the two years. If so, what is the process to urgently avoid paying a new joining fee?

You need to become a paid “gold” member of the site, per the instructions here:

The Australian Frequent Flyer - Membership Levels

This will cost you $50 a year, and then after you have become a member you will find the info on what form to fill in and where to send it. This information wont be provided to you before you join, but it does work, I’m a member of the scheme.

Unfortunately, rates just increased for QP membership, it’s now $625 for 2 years. Full rates can be found here (take off $230 joining fee).

Thank you; however I am a Gold Member (since 26 April 2010) and cannot find reference to the instructions. AmI missing some special login to access the privileges. I have a Gold membership receipt.
Thanks for your patience. It's fairly urgent, as expiry is the end of May.

Go here, then the 6th or 7th forum listed on the page is 'Gold Membership Privileges' - click there and you'll find what you need. If you've got till end of May you should have no problems. :)
