What is strange is that 6 NB's got upgraded before the OP (who I gather was PS)...
Surely common sense would have applied - or maybe J really was full...

And pleasing 6 was better than not pleasing 7?

As far as i could see i was accompanying my elderly mother and was assured we would travel together and that what would happen to my ticket would happen to her. Both of us should have been kept together regardless of what happened to the rest of the family. And apart from that i found out that ff sratus has naught to do with upgrades. Just first world problems really, but we never fly as a family like that and so i never realise who gets updates.and who doesnt. I know i rarely ever get them. .. cant remember last time in fact and my extended bronze ff family just tets an upgrades makes me think. And knowing that paying qc members have even less chance of upgrades than silv/plat etc. makes me even less inclined to byy the dodgy qc membership that refuses me entry evert third flight for some minor oversight. ... if it wasnt our national carrier i would avoid q and jq but since i like flying our airline i still ocasionally do, but seriously i dont know why.
