Qantas Club discount for AFF Gold & Platinum members

I'm trying to renew my Qantas Club membership with the AFF Promo Code. The code that was sent was for new Qantas memberships, not renewals, and in any case, the operator at Qantas said the Promo Code was invalid - I think that is clear!!

Well now we are getting somewhere. Much clearer now that we know what the issue is.

I was going to suggest contacting AFF Admin, but maybe someone will come up with a better idea.

Just for the benefit of anyone else looking for info on the AFF Qantas Club discount in the future, this guide explains how the discount works and what you need to do: https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/aff-qantas-club-discount/

Once you've requested the discount you'll generally receive a unique code within 1-2 business days and you can then use this to complete your purchase on the Qantas website.

If you are a Gold status member and had Qantas club membership prior to being elevated, which is now in credit. Would renewing at the current rate utilising AFF discount for 4 years ( don't see myself holding gold) would it go into credit until gold expires?

Yes, that is my understanding. :)

I requested a discount code through AFF, which was sent, as well as other instructions.

I have followed those instructions (Ring Qantas and get removed from the old scheme).

Qantas staff have not been able to remove me from the old scheme, as they say they require an ABN for AFF.

I have requested this information from AFF, and I have not received a single reply. My Qantas Club is due for renewal at the end of September.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi,
Have tried contacting AFF regarding renewal of Qantas Club membership for past 4 weeks and haven’t received any response. A bit on the nose considering you’re happy to debit for annual fees but won’t answer queries. Have just had to pay full freight to renew membership. Would love to speak to anyone about a deal on membership to a forum that doesn’t respond

@admin

For those of you on the old AFF corporate scheme for Qantas Club memberships, please note that your Gold/Platinum discount promo code will not work for renewals. Thank you to @Smoddly for bringing this to our attention.

To ensure you can extend your membership without any issues, we have set up a process specifically for our members on the old AFF corporate scheme. If you’re due for renewal, please reach out to us after you have requested your discount via the members page, and we’ll guide you through the steps to extend your membership.

We’re also working closely with Qantas to transition the corporate scheme memberships to individual memberships, aiming to do so without requiring you to pay the joining fee again.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’ll keep you posted with any new information as we progress.
