I flew back home from Gatwick with Cathay last month and was sent to that horrible One Lounge :(Worst lounge I have ever been in (except maybe the Bali lounge when I had to complain about the coughroaches on the food)! When I next fly from Heathrow (October & December), I will be on BA and Qantas respectively, so will miss checking the CX lounge out unless the QF lounge gets pushed back even longer.

QF ex LHR?

If you have lounge access via status or class of service you can use any oneworld lounge ... AA, CX, BA, QF ...

If lounge access is via QP then yes, QF ... If it is open ... if not, then CX.

Isn't there a new club lounge in Gatwick - I'll be there next week and will check it out

If flying business with a QF ticket on Emirates metal, then could you add the Emirates lounge to the mix? If so, can you use the Emirates lounge if QF ticket and QF metal? Thanks....

London follows a different set of rules than most other Emirates lounges: only Qantas F and CL can use the Emirates lounge at Heathrow when on Qantas metal. On Emirates metal, the usual Emirates lounge rules apply.

A QF 'ticket' number starts with 081-

A QF marketed flight number starts with "QF".

I presume you mean the latter, as in a QF codeshare in EK metal. (QF*EK as per industry coding)

If so and in Business class, then you can access the EK lounge.

Sorry, not quite up to speed on the terminology, I meant a ticket booked and paid for on the Qantas website but on an Emirates aircraft (QF8...)
But I think ChrisFlyer has seen through my convoluted question and given me the precise information i was after
Thank you for your response
