Am flying Economy on QF29 Melbourne to London soon and have Qantas Club membership. Does any one know how long the stopover in HK usually is and if this is enough time to get to the Qantas Club lounge and shower etc before getting back on board for the next leg?

It's usually around 2 hours tops.. the lounge isn't far from where the lounge is. so you should have enough time to grab a shower and be back on board.

You only have 90 mins - 2 hours between flights if I remember it right ... you'll get a shower in if you head straight for the lounge, but you'll need to move quickly if you want to avoid a queue.

Yes its doable. As others have said, don't dilly dally though, get yourself to the lounge ASAP and go straight for the showers to avoid the queue. Helps if you are towards the front of the plane too :)

Agreed - there's time, if you head straight for the lounge and straight for the showers. Worth doing: it makes the onward flight that much more bearable.

There are three "qantas" lounges at HK airport. the Wing, the Pier and the Cabin.
Depending on your departure gate, you should aim to get to the nearest one. Worth checking out the Cathay website

Even better is if you can get into 1st class. HK has perhaps the best 1st class lounges around.
Business class still pretty good although it can get busy

Qantas Club membership only gives access to the Qantas Business class lounge at HKG.

oneworld sapphire status (QF SG) gives access as well to Cathay Pacific's Business lounges (Wing, Cabin, Pier and G16).

They are actually Cathay lounges and as mentioned qantas club doesn't get you access.
