Hi,

I am coming in from London but have 4 hours to kill between arrival and my domestic connection from T2. I have an invitation to the Qantas Club. Do they have showers at the lounge at T2?

Yes. I have used them many times and they have saved my life! ( metaphorically)

Yes showers there with the door naz_'s (usually very sociable actually)supplying the towels etc. The quality of the showers sure surpasses the quality of the food. Beers & wine are at least cold & usually able to jag a club computer during offpeak times

Not the best QC around, loooking a little frayed around the edges, but the showers work, it's pretty quiet in there (the twice I've been in there) and the ladies on the door are friendly.

Food's is edible, without being anything special.

Yes - small QC with showers (one is the h/c and parents room so is very spacious). Can get very crowded when a few JQ and QF flights are leaving, but otherwise everyone is very friendly. No big queues for drinks either;)

and there's a "lovley" lady with purple eyeshadow serving drinks - it would pay to keep the children away on risk of nightmares...

Mr!

Ah, you've met my sister then munitalp!

Yep, she is a mighty fine example of a woman! :D

I have to admit tho, she is always plesant and friendly in her "Baltic" way, unlike many of her counterparts scattered across T2 & T3

Yes, my sister is a mighty fine example of a woman, though sadly the Baltic one you describe is not her. My sister is what you may describe as being of "plentiful proportions", and was well known in her younger pre-marriage/family days for push starting a minibus. (I kid not)

I was in T2 yesterday and your "lovely" lady was working again. She may not be pleasant on the eyes but she more than makes up for it by doing a good job at the bar with very friendly service.

I wish I can say that much for some of the so-called "pretty" ladies I have encountered in some of the lounges or even pubs....
