That’s going to be a very long night for the passengers. 22:20 hrs go home or book into hotels which might take up to 3 hours to get to hotel bed (personal experience) Then back to airport at 3-4amDue to a late inbound QF10, tonight’s QF9 has been delayed until 0600 tomorrow morning.

Maybe a bug.I've just received this note from TripIt
TripIt Pro alert: Departure delay for QF 94 (LAX to MEL) on 18/2/2018
QF 94 (LAX to MEL) is currently DELAYED, departing terminal TBIT at 10:00 PST (from original 22:05 PST). Arrival time at MEL is now 20:55 AEDT.
Your connection QF 683 (MEL to ADL) is currently ON TIME departing at 11:30 AEDT. You will not make your connection.
I've checked my booking details in the Qantas app, and nothing untoward is showing, and I've had nothing from Qantas either via email or text.
Does this sound correct and I'm now leaving at 10am the following day, or is something totally stuffed up?

hmm... google shows QF93 as enroute and FR24 shows "unknown"QF93 is now showing a 24 hour delay. I've moved my booking from Sunday's QF94 to route via SYD (QF12). I didn't receive any messages from Qantas about the delay either
Since a contract or agreement is just that, I won't speculate that as DXB for QF winds down, EK is being less cooperative in placing when needed QF passengers on EK flights at short notice.
