Also on Sunday 3 July, B789 VH-ZNF on QF11 (1015 hours midmorning SYD - LAX) took off at 1131 hours so expected same day arrival is 0746, 46 late.
Spoke to soon, even though QF2 from
LHR is due into SIN at 18:12 tonight, the onward journey to SYD is delayed until 3am.

I'm due to fly out on qf1 on Saturday with my family which includes.three children, one 5month old, a two year old and a 8 yo, so I've been watching the comings and goings of qf1 and 2 with anxiety. Honestly can't think of much worse in terms of travel than waiting at the airport with young kids until 9pm and then having to somehow go back home, with all our luggage, sleep for 6ish hours and then go back to the airport again. Pure misery!
Ahh yes but I can mentally prepare for everything to not go to plan, then hopefully be surprised when it does . Praying for that travel nirvana .
Hello !
I have been looking at recent performance of QF408 because I will travel with it later next month.
I noticed that is mostly always cancelled! Have anyone here been affected by it? what would usually happen with that? I have no idea why would it be cancelled or what to expect given that there is even a connection to international terminal to continue the travel to US ...
Thank you, hope you have a good day.

QF1 pushed back at 22:59. Seems they have been given a dispensation to take off after 23:00. Looks like a couple of other flights may take off after curfew too, so dispensation probably granted due to weather and significant hold times.
