I wouldn’t trust QF website haha - Changi airport says cancelled for both 51 & 52

The Changi Airport website is showing QF51 as cancelled (for today) as the delay has spilt over to the next day. As such, today's QF51 is showing up as tomorrow's QF51D on Changi Airport's website, which is effectively what the QF website is saying.

There can't be two QF51s arriving tomorrow so one of them had to be re-numbered.

On Thursday 23 January, QF15, the 2200 hours BNE to LAX A332 has been cancelled. This could be due to the troubles affecting QF51 as above.

In more on 23 January, A333 VH_QPC arrived in SYD at 1151 hours, 116 minutes late as QF60 from HND.

It has become QF59, the 1200 'high noon' SYD-HND airborne at 1506 with arrival at gate suggested as 2229 hours late tonight, 149 late. This is QPC's eighth consecutive badly delayed international flight.

A333 VH-QPJ arrived in Sydney this morning at 1041 hours, only a minute late as QF88 from ICN, but then was asked to form its own. QF87 back to ICN (the 1130 hours) was airborne at 1301 hours so gate arrival should be about 2116 hours, 51 late.

QF19 to MNL has had very poor timekeeping lately. Today is no exception with sister aircraft to QPC, QPD taking off in Sydney at 1326 hours . Manila arrival is suggested as 1808 hours, 38 behind.

A332 VH-EBS is on the 1420 hours SYD-CGK QF41 that recently has often been punctual. This isn't the case today as it was in the sky at 1656 meaning likely gate arrival at 1955 in the early evening, 115 late.

Looks like "yesterdays" QF51 got away at 14:50 but today's 51 is again having a long delay, has just departed BNE at 17:00 (6.5 hours late).

Also QPF (A333) finally operated the QF128D from HKG delayed from 21/01 at 0456 on 23/01/2024 and arrived back at 1638 - that is the most late departure I had ever seen for a non weather related delayed departure out of HKG like this!

QF 127 to HKG from SYD is delayed again on QPD (A333) - 2 hr delay departed at 1317 instead of 1115 and now scheduled to arrive at 1903 instead of 1750. And this aircraft will form the 128 back to SYD - early estimate is 65 min delay to 2035 depart instead of 1925 (very optimistic!)

On Monday 27 January, QF67, the 0930 hours SYD-BLR (A332 VH-EBS) had not taken off as at 1124 hours.

A388 VH-OQG on QF63 (also an 0930 hours departure, but to JNB) was airborne at 1044 so a 1527 hours mid afternoon arrival is predicted, 42 minutes late.

On Monday 27 January, QF67, the 0930 hours SYD-BLR (A332 VH-EBS) had not taken off as at 1124 hours.

A388 VH-OQG on QF63 (also an 0930 hours departure, but to JNB) was airborne at 1044 so a 1527 hours mid afternoon arrival is predicted, 42 minutes late.

They used OQG after it arrived late from LAX. That’s because the QF2 (OQK) left SIN 7.5 hours late arriving into SYD at 13:27 almost 7 hours late. It would have formed the QF63..

Updating the above, QF67 SYD-BLR is expected to arrive 90 minutes late.

B789 VH-ZNE on QF27, the lunchtime 27 January SYD-SCL, is expected to depart 40 minutes late. Connecting passengers?

MEL isn't much better tonight either with single runway ops and around 6 go arounds not long ago.

Long delay for tonight’s QF9, showing a 5 hour delay at the moment looks like due to the late running QF33 from SYD. The QF33 will depart PER on time on a different aircraft so any one coming from SYD will miss it
