QF102, the Tuesday 15 April NAN down to SYD (B738 VH-VYZ is arriving at 1929 hours at gate, 64 late.

On Tuesday 15 April 2025, QF26, the 0655 hours daytime HND to SYD boarded in time for a punctual departure but the Captain then announced there was a light on the dashboard indicating a fault.

As at 0815 Japan time (0915 AEST), passengers and crew remained onboard while the plane is attended to. Aircraft is A333 VH-QPE.

UPDATE: Takeoff was at 0911 Japan time. SYD arrival at gate is estimated as 1934, 94 minutes late.

Not sure if impacted, but the flight to HND from SYD is now pushed back to 2100 departure instead of 2030... I expect that to be delayed unless QF decides to swap aircrafts at the last minute

Also the arrival time is now 1950 instead of original delay of 1934

Quick update on QF25 to HND tonight on QPE- now delayed to 2215 departure… hope enough time to beat curfew of 2300

Edit: actual take off time is 2246 - 2hr 15 delay and ETA IS 0803 instead of 0525

A333 VH-QPE is naturally again late on its third consectutive QF26 that on Wednesday 16 April took off from HND at 0919 so gate arrival in SYD tonight looks to be 1936 hours, 96 minutes tardy and similar to last night.

Lets see if they will swap to another aircraft to end this consecutive delay on this routing...

Also on QF 127 to HKG from SYD on QPD took off at 1123 - 63 mins late and according to current update at 1330 AEST- 20 mins late but hope they can make up time in the air.

Edit: Good news - now just within 15 mins late... that's a great catch up in the air with the speed for QF 127

Moved to QF431 30mins later. dom J prints me the new J boarding pass.

I open the app a little bit later to update it, and now somehow I'm in economy whilst my ticket still says Business and the lounge staff has no idea what happened either.

Also for reference: everything on my ticket still shows as Business even to the staff at the lounge and on the phone.

I open the app a little bit later to update it, and now somehow I'm in economy whilst my ticket still says Business and the lounge staff has no idea what happened either.

Also for reference: everything on my ticket still shows as Business even to the staff at the lounge and on the phone.

So there is 1 J seat open. Just not the seat that was initially assigned to me (I'm in row 4 so I can easily see J).

Not yet: on its fourth consecutive QF25-QF26 yo-yo, A333 VH_QPE is expected to arrive at the SYD gate tonight at 1923, 83 minutes late as QF26 from HND.

A332 VH-EBA is apparently rostered for Thursday 17 April's QF37, the scheduled 1555 hours MEL-SIN that has yet to depart, but is forecast to at 2100 hours mid evening. QF38, the 2330 hours SIN-MEL is estimated to push back at 0430 hours on Good Friday, 18 April.

Looks like QF don’t have enough spare aircraft to swap out to end this consecutive delays

It probably doesn't help that these delays have occurred during Easter school holidays, a very busy time from Australia (and within Oz) for airlines.

They finally swapped out the QPE to QPB on the QF25 tonight (17/04) and finally departed on time

Guys - bad delay on QF128 HKG SYD tonight on Good Friday… flight arrived on time as 127 on VH-EBS (A332 Oneworld Livery) - 13 years old, now scheduled departure is 90 mins late at 2100 instead of 1930!!!

Edit: delayed to 1900 on Saturday 19/04/2025

Sorry below is in Chinese by a passenger on threads - basically saying mechanical failure in the aircraft - hk passengers DID NOT get hotel vouchers from rude staff!!
