Has there actually been any public release about this from QF? I thought they just fed some info to news outlets, etc. All part of the mystery :)

Nothing on their press release website:

When was the last time someone reported seeing this deal? If it's still officially running then I guess they are still out there but being snapped up by bots?

Thursday there were a few. Yeah not sure what on earth is going on! If it's bots then I have no chance.

I think the Shanghai one last week is the last one that was reported. It was the one that seemed to be “stuck” on the page well after the dates had become unavailable. Since then search and refresh have been behaving a little bit differently too with slightly different results each time the tab is refreshed - maybe to try to outsmart the bots?

Maybe there are listings hidden out there somewhere but no longer showing up with the search settings discussed on this thread...who knows!?

I thought that might be the case also so I've tried every search I can think of...
Just plane, or just $20-30 with same amenities etc etc.... Nothing found.

Well the search would need to be for the individual cities that you want to visit. London, Sydney, LA, Brooklyn (or wherever JFK is located, etc.

If they truly want people to randomly find these deals then maybe they've removed things like plane etc.

The 5 cancelled "reviews" are all June, so must have been this morning's listing.

No I don't believe so. Having gone through the booking process before, I believe all the cancelled reviews relate to past bookings (Wed 29th - Thurs 30th).

I originally got the LHR - SYD flights but the dates didn't work for me but luckily ended up getting the SYD - HKG for 4 people so pretty stoked about that! I just set up a window on my computer of chrome auto refreshing every 10 seconds with the filters of plane and $20-$29 price range for two days straight and had pre loaded my payment information and my heart stopped as I went through the check out process, just got lucky I guess :D

Is it me or is it amazing that we are getting so many newbies that are posting how successful they have been with this promo?

@Ansett: Not really, there have been people joining and posting for the first time this whole thread. It's because this forum shows up as one of the first hits for this promo.
