Qantas disguises first class seats as $20 ‘cabin in the clouds’ on Airbnb

You still have to pay for the return journey, and unless you are WP the chance of finding a J or F seat on the way back is slim

I understand the angle you have, but please: If I jagged a 50k x2 F trip to the USA I would happily even indulge in AA + Jetstar to return :) I know that finding award availability is limited. For most people the chance of experiencing F travel is just not reality - this promo makes it actually achievable. I would far more prefer QF to let twice the amount of lucky flyers to get half way on an extremely good deal than half get a return flight.

Maybe I am caught up in the challenge of it all. Maybe I need some crushing reality here. Paging @RooFlyer :)

I’d gladly jump on AA Y LAX-Syd for 90k +USD55 for 2 to get back home!

Maybe someone who has access to the P1 line and is calling for some reason might also ask QF why they are discriminating against people who travel solo.

Anyone seen or read about any new "hidden" listings appearing today?

Presumably nobody here is going to search for listings on Airbnb unless they're wanting them for their own purposes so the chances of snagging freebie are about as remote as actually finding one ourselves.

Welcome to AFF. There's a wealth of information on this site outside of this thread. Info that has sometimes saved me thousands of $$

There is one up on the page at the moment to Santiago on 8 Feb 2020- when you look at availability there is nothing to click on so can only assume it has been snaffled!

Yep, went up sometime in the last 20 minutes and already gone. I find it amusing they use business suite photos when they're actually Skybed II? (or will QF have swapped SCL to the newer hard product by then?)

well I guess the idea of a super low $20 deposit to snag these offers has meant that some enterprising individual is just snapping them up? might need a bit more thought.

The user profile has been throwing 500 errors (internal server error usually) for about 20 minutes.

Wonder if Qantas are swapping user IDs so we have to actually search again..

Still getting those 500 error notifications here. Also tried a search for the $20 listings and limiting parameters, but nothing came up.
