Qantas double status credits: Register & book between 12-18 March 2025

Even though the T&Cs say AEDT in practice QF’s computer systems run on UTC. If you book before midnight UTC on the opening day of the promo you may find the DSC do not automatically credit. You can request them but QF would want to see the e-ticket and boarding passes and for you to wait the time specified in the T&Cs that the DSCs may take to credit before contacting QF to get it sorted.

Tempted, if QF was a bit quicker with refunds I would be tipped over the edge.

I can book 3-4 more and my SC's only just reset at the beginning of March

(Not sure if QF has 5th freedom flights others than to JFK from AKL, and LHR from SIN, if such can be options for DSCs). Can consider repo

You’d get DSC for the QF flight numbered flights on Qantas metal only.

Thanks - but what if it’s sold as one flight from Qantas and it’s 140SC for Syd to LHR QF then LHR to Milan with BA. Does that mean I get DSC for a portion of the 140SC? Or is it a Qantas marketed flight and I’ll get 280SC?

Only for the part of the trip on airplanes with a red kangaroo on the tail (albeit with some small exceptions not relevant to you).

Most of the best status runs this time around, quite predictably, are Business Class to New Zealand.

The good Business Sale fares we used to see to DPS are pretty much gone now, unfortunately.

There aren't many great deals available to Europe (in terms of $/SC) but if you want to get to Paris, booking SYD-PER-CDG in Premium Economy isn't terrible value. As an added bonus, the SYD-PER leg may book into J.

AKL-MEL-OOL is cheaper than all of these options.

Stupid question but if 2 flights on a PNR eg a return flight booked 12-18 March 2025, with outgoing leg before 24 Feb 2026 but the return leg after this date, is QF system smart enough to credit the bonus on the outgoing leg, or it’s too much to trust QF to do the right thing (and having to deal with less than competent and sometimes lying call centre operators who make up stuff) and just book 2 seperate flights even for a simple return itinerary?

I read that to mean adding a new segment(s) to an existing booking (PNR) made prior to the DSC booking period.

Although, the wording around flight credits appears to have changed?

“Bookings made using flight credits issued prior to 12 March 2025 are eligible for this offer. Flight credits issued on or after 12 March 2025 will not be eligible for this offer. Bookings made using eligible flight credits must be made during the booking of window 12 March 2025 to 18 March 2025. Any bookings made using flight credits outside of this window will not be eligible.”

Does that first sentence make sense also? Are there flights credits not associated with an existing PNR?
