Qantas express departures card

Do the qantas express departures cards that used to be handed out at the first check in still exist? I have a couple that I'd like to give to someone without status - but I don't want to cause embarrassment with an out of date antique!

They weren't used in SYD when I travelled in Jan.

I don't think they'll be needed for a while yet and international traffic picks up.

Express lanes were still closed the two times I went through Sydney Airport in April. In saying that there were no lines when I went through at the start of April for EK415 and last week on a Sunday evening.

It's been a while, as it was closed for most of 2019 as well.

My memory might be fading but I don't recall them being essential - I guess it depends on the time of your flight, but for the late morning departures to the US I don't think I ever really needed them.

SYD-xBNE-SIN in early April - no Express Path card given for the BNE-SIN leg but an Express Path logo was present on my digital BNE-SIN boarding pass in the Qantas app.

The Express Path lane in BNE was not clearly sign posted until just before the x-ray machines where it ended up being shared with the crew lane. Hopped across to that one, a Menzies staff member queried what I was doing, showed the BP & pointed to the Express Path sign and they left me alone. Saved probably 15 minutes in the queue for security.

I think more and more the EP logo is printed on the BP (which makes sense). I had this on NZ out of MEL pre pandemic. Sure saved on the paper and far easier to show imo

Funny enough was trying to do this ex-MEL last week. The EP lanes are still closed though and the whole queue went quickly.
