Update: Hobart Support team (over the phone) were able to reschedule us on CX HKG to Dehli and then BA Dehli to LHR (London or Paris were fine on my end). Had to pay difference in points. AF failed to respond to reallocation request.

Not the best outcome (but definitely not the worst).

Hopefully your transit time in Delhi is not too long, it's not the best of experiences...

I would write to QFFF, explain qantas failed to ticket but were able to reschedule, and ask for the extra points to be refunded.

You should not have to pay for that!
