Currently on a Oneworld RTW reward booking and a few legs have been flown.

Made some date changes to onward legs, which Qantas took payment for.

No e-ticket issued after multiple follow up calls.

Latest call the agent said cannot reissue as the date changes were not allowed???

Now no onward flight, and original seats are no longer available.

Next flight is in 2 days.

Any way to resolve this asap? Already emailed reward ticket escalation email but no response. Standard call centre monkeys just have one excuse after another.

Unfortunately changes are not permitted once travel has begun whuch leaves you in rather a pickle. Seems yet again an agent made changes they should not have. Sigh.

This reads differently - let me know if I've interpreted incorrectly:
"Up to the commencement of travel for each flight:
The following changes are permitted up to the commencement of travel of each flight in your booking*:
change of flight number
change to date of travel"

I would absolutely try arguing that these T&Cs apply, however, I think you'll be out of luck as the oneworld classic flight award is a different product. It's still worth a shot, though.

That aside, it's not your fault you were permitted to make changes that allegedly aren't allowed. Qantas can't just leave you stranded.

Ok, what of the exception? Good ol conflicting pages. Oy.

What if the exception?

Exception: If the change is requested for an airline that requires ticket reissue for changes to flight number or date of travel, changes are only permitted up to 24 hours before departure of the first flight in your booking.

Was it a partner airline floght(s) you wanted to change?

Regardless, while QF probably should rectify this due to them changing it IF not permitted and/or reissuing required - given the time issue you may need a plan.

You said next flights are in two days - is this part OK? When are the now missing sectors? If I understand the issue correctly.

Yes changes were on partner Airlines (RAM, BA).

Unfortunately next 2 flights are the ones we changed :(

The other part is what is your next sector. Whilst we may not be able to directly help you with your OWA tickets, this community can at least help you find alternatives if that is necessary.

Would you happen to have the T&C's for Oneworld classic flight award?

Next sector IST-CMN on RAM.
Changed from 4th March 2024 to 3rd March 2024.

Here’s an extract from the T&Cs.
Refer particularly to 14.7.6…

This is a link to the whole book of rules if you want to look further.

Best of luck…

14.7 Classic Flight Rewards (excluding Classic Flight Rewards forming part of Combined Classic Flight Reward Bookings) - changes to tickets

14.7.1 Except as otherwise stated in this clause 14.7 and clause 14.8, changes are not permitted to any Classic Flight Reward at any time. Any permitted changes are subject to Classic Flight Reward availability.
14.7.2 If a booking is made that includes non-Classic Flight Reward flight(s) and Classic Flight Reward flight(s), then any changes to any Classic Flight Reward flight Segment or Segments in the combined booking may only be made in accordance with the conditions outlined in clause 14.8, and this clause 14.7 will not apply.
14.7.3 Prior to ticketing, Classic Flight Rewards may be changed without incurring a Change Fee; however, any changes will be subject to this clause 14.7 and to the advance purchase and validity provisions set out in clauses 14.2.2 and 14.6.1.
14.7.4 Subject to this clause 14.7, the following changes are permitted to a Classic Flight Reward after ticketing and prior to commencement of any travel and will incur a Change Fee (see the Fee Schedule) per passenger:
(a) change to flight number;
(b) change to date of travel;
(c) change to class of travel;
(d) change to any Segment routing or airline;
(e) change to name (only for Flights with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the ticket that are operated by Qantas); and
(f) request to cancel ticket and re-credit Qantas Points. Please note that only Qantas Points that would not have expired will be re-credited.
14.7.5 Subject to this clause 14.7, the following changes are permitted to a Classic Flight Reward flight before departure of that flight, provided the entire booking contains only Flight Segments that are within Australia, and will incur a Change Fee (see the Fee Schedule) per passenger:
(a) change to flight number;
(b) change to date of travel;
(c) change to class of travel; and
(d) change to a direct or indirect Segment routing without a Stopover (provided the origin and destination cities remain unchanged) or airline.
14.7.6 Subject to this clause 14.7, the following changes are permitted to a Classic Flight Reward flight before departure of that flight, provided the booking contains one or more Flight Segments that are not within Australia, and the Flight Segment(s) being changed do not include a partner airline that requires a ticket to be reissued for the change. Any such change will incur a Change Fee (see the Fee Schedule) per passenger:
(a) change to flight number; and
(b) change to date of travel.
14.7.7 Any change made to a Classic Flight Reward after ticketing will incur a Change Fee (see the Fee Schedule) per passenger. No changes requiring ticket reissue will be allowed to any Classic Flight Reward within 24 hours before departure from the point of origin of the first Flight Segment on the Itinerary.
14.7.8 The following changes are not permitted to any Classic Flight Reward within 24 hours before departure from the point of origin of the first Flight Segment on the Itinerary:
(a) change to class of travel;
(b) change to any Segment routing or airline; and
(c) change to name (only for Flights with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the ticket that are operated by Qantas).
14.7.9 No changes will be permitted on the Qantas website to any Classic Flight Reward within 24 hours before departure of each Flight Segment on the Itinerary.
14.7.10 Changes to Classic Flight Rewards that incur Point fees (see the Fee Schedule) can be made only by the Member who originally redeemed Qantas Points for the Classic Flight Rewards and only if that Member has sufficient Qantas Points to cover the applicable fees.
14.7.11 Any change made by telephone or in person to a Classic Flight Reward booking will incur a Service Fee per passenger occupying a seat (see Fee Schedule) in addition to any applicable Change Fee.

14.8 Combined Classic Flight Reward Bookings - changes to tickets

14.8.1 The most restrictive Fare Rules of any Segment of a Combined Classic Flight Reward Booking apply to any changes made to the Classic Flight Reward Segment(s) of that Combined Classic Flight Reward Booking. Any additional payments associated with changes to any Classic Flight Reward Segment(s) of such bookings (other than for refunds) must be paid with money, as specified in the Fare Rules of the applicable most restrictive Segment.

So, do Rpyal Air Maroc require a reissue is perhaps the question relating to the rules (ie did 2nd agent have it correct).

More a point of order than solution for Sunday though.

I didn't know that. I say that a lot here, which is why I like coming here, but to continue my education at the expense of the OP's thread (sorry @mustkill and I hope your username doesn't checkout :)), but does that rule apply to, say, a QF reward flight on EK or CX too? Assuming that's a different situation to the OP's predicament.

At least the flights have been re ticketed, so you won't be stranded.
The other issue will be easier to sort out.

So good and bad news.

Good news: Qantas reward ticketing escalations team came through and reissued the ticket with new dates/flights.

Bad news: they only reticketed after we booked backup flights using cash.
That is irritating
