Does anyone know if there is a way to have points credited to EDR Card after a transaction? Website said its not allowed but I was wondering if anyone knows any way around it/has done it before. Thought it would be more worthwhile to ask on here before I tried calling EDR!
I have called a number of times explaining the error and they have credited points manually once I can provide proof of the transaction.

Still trying to get the Big W bonus points from last month but forgot the receipt in Sydney. Next week....

basically the person at **** Smith forgot to scan the card even though I put it on the bench, I didn't realise until I got out of the store and looked at the receipt. It's double points too so something worth chasing up. What proof do they normally require, anything beyond original receipt?

Unfortunately original receipt, or copy, is the only proof they will accept.

Not sure if you give them the date, time, store, termimal id if they would find the transaction but I have always been asked for receipt and barcode.

You could be petty and ask for a refund and then buy it again, this time making sure the card is scanned.

JB Hi-FI has 20% off all itunes cards. Not sure if they count for EDR purchases. But if they do might be useful to price match with DSE if anyone is sick of buying phone recharges.

Once we do the food shopping tomorrow, we will have hit all the quarterly bonii. SWMBO is still refusing to let me buy 6 months of soup. :(
  • 700+500 for partners
  • 800 DSE
  • 4 BWS
  • 400 Big W
  • 2x200 Coffee/Tea/Me
  • 250 Fresh food
  • ~250 for usual shop.
  • 345 card QFF points
Total 3649 (+ ~4650 MR points)

They did last time I bought some at Big W. Nice catch!

Managed to buy another 64 rolls of TP at Big W today along with a generous spend at WW, so I should get my bonii points soon too.

With an upcoming colonoscopy (entirely routine) this could be worth investigating for my shopping trip tomorrow. :-| At least I wont be going through the motions to get the bonus points.

Don't you need a receipt in order to get a refund? ;)

Shouldn't be too hard as they probably have the receipt. :?:

Actually if you re-read the post you may find they no longer have the receipt!

I have to question your interpretation on that; it doesn't say they don't have the receipt, it asks if anything beyond original receipt is required

Exactly! Maybe said person.. bought the item and sold/gave to someone else, so no longer has it... or... found a receipt on the ground that was paid in cash and is trying to scam points for it as there is no way of proving you didn't buy it, unless asking to see if you have the goods

Perhaps you are right! I may have misread that statement.

Anyway if they have the original receipt in hand then Everyday Rewards customer care will be more than happy to assist in crediting the points manually.

Ah sorry for all that confusion! I do have the original receipt, just that JohnK wrote something about receipt and barcodes and I was wondering if that was absolutely necessary as some of the things bought have been given already as presents. Going to call at 8 this morning and see how I go. Cheers!

I have a habit of confusing things even more! I actually meant the barcode on the receipt not the goods you bought!

Anyway good luck with the claim.

Gave them a call this morning. First lady I spoke to said that the company never credited points after a transaction, but I kept saying that the person 'in store' told me they could and to call the centre. After a while she put me through to the 'support team' who credited me the points. All they needed was the total and the transaction number on the receipt. Ended up with 1472 points, not bad from a phone call and a purchase we would have made anyway.

Thanks for the help!

Good job you tried in that case.

But next time... make sure they swipe the card ;)

Given the length of this thread, we have decided to start a new forum specifically for the Woolworths Everyday Rewards program.

Please continue general discussion about the Woolworths Everyday Rewards program in this new forum. (For discussion specifically about the Woolworths Everyday Master Card, please post in Woolworths Everyday Master Card)

I am now closing this thread.

Thanks albatross710 for the suggestion.
