Qantas First Lounge Invites on eBay

To get $300 value you would have to have a long time to the international flight and I would prefer the SYD Flounge to MEL Flounge IMHO.

Both lounges are great though

Simo that is what I am thinking as well. Most trips to LAX only give you an hour or 2 in the lounge (Im departing ADL and then via SYD or MEL its only 1-2 hours I would get to use the lounge). Not worth $300 IMO for 1-2 hours. If you there 4+ hours then it's up to you what you are willing to pay for the privalige of trying something you may not well ever get to try again :)

And I take it you can't get into the lounge arriving back from overseas and getting an internal domestic flight back to home?

Depends on your status.

But if you had that status you would not be buying one on ebay

it appears that the price on these has dropped back down to $100 approx which is a little more reasonable

Not according to the finished Auctions history on Ebay. Cheapest recently was $180 per ticket with most usually going for $200 each. The ones that are currently running, most people bid in the last minute so these are not going back down to $100 just yet.

The frenzy has passed, price range now would be $100 - $125. Way down from the $300 tops.
