Rookie question - Can I book the MEL first lounge spa if I am only in J? Or any spa in QF 1st lounges?
Plat - yes
QF flight - yes

I believe F no longer comes with a dedicated F host escort on demand, anymore.

@Princess Fiona Can you advise on spa bookings? I recall you had to persist as a P1 on your last trip?
You do get an email the day before noting a mobile number to call when you're on your way to the airport.
Travelled at the end of August in F and the lovely agent on the other end of the phone pre booked our spa treatments when we called on the way to the airport.

Generic email for F now advising that appointments subject to availability on the day.

Has never been possible for Plat or Plat 1 to prebook spa appointments. Only F pax.

Yeah, I did not get a call or email regarding spa bookings when flying F last month. They used to..... As per PF.. generic email.. so even flying QF F means no bookings.

Maybe with only two F routes operating (which are time deconflicted) they decided bookings weren’t needed.

Hello AFF's
I was fortunate to get a reward First Class seat a couple of days ago, flying this Tuesday from Manchester. There doesn't seem to be the option of spa treatments at MAN but I can see that there is in Dubai. I only have a short transfer time in Dubai 1 hr 25 min.
Am I able to prebook a spa treatment before I leave? I can't see anything on the website.
I'm not likely to fly first again anytime soon so would love to get the full experience.
I flew business on the way out and only just made the connection with a 35 minute transfer time (should have been 1 hr) so didn't experience any lounge at all.
Also, any tips for a rookie First Class pax?

I'm flying first class internationally for the first time (hooray!) in a month or so out of Sydney, so had some questions that I hoped someone more regular could help out with about QF First Lounge. I'm going since there seems to be a consensus that QF First Lounge > Emirates Lounge:

Is the all-day menu available at breakfast, and what should I order there as a first-timer?
I booked Emirates via Qantas as a codeshare, do I get a spa invitation call the day before?
Is it worth going to the lounge as soon as it opens (5am)?

(I'm flying in the morning, around 8am).

Welcome @rjwx, I can only answer from my Melbourne experience. When we have flown on QF metal, yes, I did get the call a day before and booked my spa experience.
When we have flown EK metal as QF codeshare, I did not, but was able to get a spot when we arrived in the Lounge, so just ask nicely when you enter - though not sure if Spa hours operate that early.

Also, you can have a complimentary 15 minute spa session at Dubai First Lounge, I usually go the foot massage!
This can be pre arranged though you may not have time depending on your onward connection.
Certainly any time spent in QF First Lounge is worth it, so get there early.
You can only check in 3 hours before your flight, happy to be corrected on that for Sydney departures.
Enjoy!

I didn't get a call even when I was booked on QF out of SYD over Christmas... But I don't think the spa is open before 8 am?

Overview of the Qantas First Lounge Spa (and how to get in)

Hopefully you can open this link and give you an overview of the First Lounge and Spa

I don't believe the spa is open that early, and Qantas from various articles I have read do not advertise the opening hours.

Perhaps being Christmas with many travellers, they were "too busy" to call 🤨!
