Hoping that it will be a return on Sunday instead of Saturday. Otherwise it’s a long time to leave it in Palau 🤣

I did assume that was a mistake 😂

I fully expect the crew to overnight in ROR and then fly the return back the next day.

Looks bookable on the QF site now

A 6hr flight on a 737. That's a squeeze at best in Y!

What's interesting is that the fees for classic rewards are all over the place. MEL – BNE – ROR works out at AUD$338 total now that I've looked into it. Whereas the return journey is only AUD$106. What's going on here? Is it the entertainment tax for visitors on arrival?

Long awaited opportunity!
Just booked family 4 pax for 2 weeks in Paradise over April school holidays
Flights $1,302.48AUD 162,400PTS
and yes taxes on inbound flight are much higher due to additional environmental fee by Palau govt.

You convinced me. Though $500 taxes pp on a points fare is awful for a flight that short/cheap, and a 737 is awful for a flight that long (heh) but ... hey gotta spend my points on something.

? Status credit earn. Interestingly on the website and the app under status credits there is an "X" for all economy and business fares. Have they just not decided yet, is it a website error or for some reason does it not earn SC?
