And wanting to go back to an age of fantastic service and lots of legroom

People seem to forget flying was also much more expensive then as well. And that there was no AVOD. And often the IFE sucked. And that you couldn't book online. Or OLCI... the list of improvements goes on ;)

If Qantas wants to restore brand loyalty, perhaps a better way would be to invest in some modern planes, give passengers a little more leg room and make their prices more competitive.

But the Retro Roo is a new, 'modern' plane! :p

Unfortunately marketing gimmicks are cheaper and easier.

What's next? This as the F amenity kit?

I do think that would actually be really cool, provided the products contained within are still premium, there's no reason the bag couldn't be a retro throwback!
