Re: Fax to Dixon

OK, Dixon may just laugh at a fax from a whingeing member of the public, however even if there is only a 1% chance of QF being generous and refunding the money, surely it is worth the 20 cent fax. And if he is a QF FF Gold then he has a lot of other options next time he flies abroad. And he would talk to a lot of his friends as well.

What options? If he is flying to Singapore or on to London he can go BA or SG. Ditto if via Bangkok. To New Zealand, Lan Chile?? To Indonesia?? To Japan? To China?

Anyway I thought the point was in relation to a domestic flight. As stated there is no viable alternative.

Qantas came to the party!

All's well that ends well!

After a bunch of angry letters to Qantas my mother received a letter around XMas from Qantas to advise that her complaint had been reviewed and under the circumstances Qantas decided, though not taking responsibility, but as a gesture of good will issue her with a $1700 Qantas travel voucher.

I agree with their position, and agree with their actions. We are all happily flying Q. again without a grudge.....
