Qantas increases E190 QantasLink fleet to 18 airframes [Now 30]

You may be right. I was travelling with Mrs NM and we were on right side together.

It's 1x2 for QLK (the right side has the twin seats).

However I have seen a few airlines configure 2x2 with essentially Y seats and J service. I think BA was one?

The two seats on the right side were very comfortable for two people traveling together I sad to not be able to find them on the BNE-NTL routes any longer - just Dash-8 and 717 operating when I last looked.

The E190s will be back on BNE-NTL from the end of July when the 717s are phased out of Brisbane. They’ll also appear on some MEL-NTL rotations too.

That is good news for me, as NTL will likely be a regular destination for the NM's for a while.

Qantas have exercised 4 more options, increasing the E190 fleet to 30 to arrive by end of the year through the partially owned Alliance Airlines group.

Is there a list somewhere on this forum of all E190 routes?

I see they’ve popped up on some of my old 717 route bookings like: BNE-LST

The 717s disappeared from OOL-SYD, replaced by 737 at a lower frequency.

I'm guessing OOL will be towards the top of the list to get A220s.
