Qantas-IndiGo partnership

Has anyone booked a QF-Indigo flight, connection in SG, as one PNR and missed the connection due to a late arrival of the QF flight?

Were you just put on the next available flight?
Yes, given one PNR, the ground team are aware that the inbound is delayed and will already have processed pax to be moved to the next available service. Additionally, depending on the time of day/delay, pax might also be offered accommodations in hotels, with meals covered/vouchers offered. Upon landing see ground staff for more information. There will usually be both QF and 6E staff on ground to assist.

What flights and dates are you trying to book?
MEL - BOM/Del in early march, flexible on date.

Nevermind. When I click on "all flights", indigo comes up. When I go straight to CR, it doesn't. All good.

Thank you.

Does anyone know how much SC I will get for flying Indigo from BOM to SIN in Economy?

From SIN I'll be coming home to MEL but weighing up whether to fly 6E or SQ on the BOM to SIN leg. Thanks!

Just a reminder that you'll need to fly on a QF codeshare to get points and SC, so not actually a 6E code on your ticket. This can only be booked in conjunction with a SIN-[Australia] flight.

According to the status credit calculator, this route earns 25 SC in discount economy and 40 SC in flexible. Sorry, I don't have personal experience to confirm this.

For this - depends how comfortable you like your flights, class of travel you prefer etc.

6E does not have J seats (yet). SQ has - if you are looking to fly J all the way to MEL.

6E might provide a snack based on the fare class purchased, otherwise need to purchase & pay, whereas SQ will offer something to eat regardless.

If booked seperately, 6E only offers 15KG or so for checked-in bag. I think the minimum SQ offers is 25KG on their Lite/Value fares.

6E is all A321, so slim/narrow seats, but SQ might have a 737/787/350/MAX (I think) depending on the day of travel.

Flying 6E as a QF codeshare will earn QF SC and points, but flying SQ won't.

So a variety of things come into play, I'd say ...

Thanks and yes I understand it needs to be booked under QF codeshare together with the SIN-MEL flight.

If I can time booking this with DSC promo (assuming it comes out in FEB) it might be worth it.

Thanks. I'm flying economy so yeah...
