Tried the chicken, spinach fine, chook was as tough as old boots - sent it back with hopefully constructive feedback and had the Bass. They certainly can cook fish.

Later on they had a trolley going around:

Chicken skewers, prawns. Prawns really nice, chicken still tough :(

Plant based dining - roast field mushrooms with soft polenta, fennel and charred scallions.

The polenta wobbled on the plate like a jelly; quite nice and light though.

Donna's grilled pork chop with yukon gold puree, cabbage, blackberries and apple sauce.
(AKA "Minute" Pork Chop with Mash 'n Cabbage.)

Asada Taco's ...
20240308_122904.jpg
Asada is basically "grilled meat". In this case I was informed it was diced wagu beef.

Soft taco shells, it was tender enough but for me I was pleased it came with the Salsa Roja as without was a bit bland.

I'll do this again ...

Kung Pow Chicken....

Chicken was battered before being stir fried.

Quite a kick in this one; really this was dominated by chilli with little other flavour noticeable.

(Someone should show the chef the [now sadly defunct] pad krapow dish I had a couple of times recently MEL.)

I’m the only customer in here with a domestic connection from terminal B.

I was there a few weeks ago for breakfast (was still the winter menu) flying AS out of T6. Staff really wanted to make sure I accounted for the walk to my gate.

I timed it, it was about 16 minutes from the Flounge to my T6 gate, really not that long at all. However I probably wouldn't bother again, I would say the AA Flagship lounge is better for breakfast.

I allow plenty of time - currently in AA Flagship as a pit stop before heading to T6 for my standalone flight to SEA which boards in 90 minutes.
