fun fact.. the QF F lounge @ LAX does accept P1 invitations

It is a fun fact considering the P1 invitation is not eligible to use at the lesser LAX Business Lounge.

All that angst by the OP for no reason! It is a noteworthy reminder to re-read your Status level benefits occasionally to keep up to date.

Reading the AA rules, it is interesting that access is available after the flight as well.

well sure, but if one had one... the "problem" is not a problem at all because the choice is pretty clear for most

I suppose if you were travelling with someone who could only get in to the Business lounge then it could be a problem that you couldn't lounge together....a problem for them.
