Qantas Lounge Pass Portal Not Working?

I stumbled across a lounge invitation for an upcoming flight. I'm bronze QFF and booked direct with BA for LHR - SYD stopping in SIN. Seated in PE for LHR-SIN then Y SIN-SYD šŸ™.

Revenue fare, not points redemption.

When I was browsing around the Qantas site, I stumbled across this lounge invitation

So I clicked the Link invitation but got this:

I figure if I got an invitation for lounge access I must be eligible. Otherwise why would it appear at all? Maybe the date is still too far in the future and I should wait? Maybe my browser (Edge)? Maybe I am really not eligible?

Is your booking on a BA flight number, or a QF one? If Iā€™m not mistaken, as a Bronze FF, you wouldnā€™t have eligibility to enter the lounge with a lounge invitation unless youā€™re on a QF ticket.

LHR-SIN is BA15
SIN-SYD is QF82

I thought it might be too good to be true.
Hmmā€¦ strange then. I canā€™t see anything in the terms & conditions that would explain why you canā€™t link it unless itā€™s just more Qantas IT issues? Iā€™m sure that someone with more knowledge/experience will weigh in on this shortly, but may just need a phone call to customer service?

I think this is more likely capacity control, especially if the date is in the coming weeks. The batch of Qantas departures at SIN before and after QF82 makes for very busy QF lounges in the evening.

These departures alone have ~280 J seats combined, plus OWS/QP pax from the ~2000 Y/W QF seats (probably significantly higher % than other Asian ports given QF1/2 transit), then you need to factor in J/OWS pax access on other oneworld airlines.

Just noticed a handy new feature in the app. you can now see available lounge passes below the Recent Activity field in the My QFF tab and selecting any of the passes takes you directly to the lounge pass portal.

iOS or Android?

Has anyone managed to allocate lounges in the past week. After clicking Get pass next to a booking and putting in the authentication code, I keep getting the error "Unable to retrieve information . Please try again later."
I've tried again later many times on desktop and app.

I successfully linked passes for my parents on Saturday for Melbourne Qantas Club

Yep, added a P1 pass to my daughterā€™s flight a few days ago.

Have an odd one which weā€™ll find the answer to soon. Basically the flight is BNE-PER-LHR.

Added a pass on the BNE-PER leg but wasnā€™t able to add for the PER-LHR leg. During check in both boarding passes have LPAC written on them - does this mean the single pass is good for both BNE and PER or just weird gremlins in the system.

I can't either, maybe they have made system changes that have affected some users.
I should have 2 lounge passes that were earned by meeting the points club criteria in September 23. The passes were there a month or two ago now I have 0 passes. Guess I will have to contact Qantas at some stage to figure this one out...

Earlier this year, was unable to link passes for PER-FCO. So perhaps the transit lounge still can't have passes used

I think that is correct.
IIRC I read a post on one of my Facebook groups where someone called up the VIP team to enquire and was advised not eligible for passes.

The website used to say this but doesnā€™t anymore, or at least I canā€™t find it listed.

My problem was different to that. The lounge passes are there, but when I attempt to link them to a flight, it says to try again later. This is the problem I had when I first started this thread but it went away after a few weeks.
I just solved it this time by transferring the passes to another person on the booking who could then assign the invitations successfully.

I've had weird things with the lounge pass page in the past. Clearing browser cache and cookies for qantas.com resolved it for me.

When this was an issue when the passes were introduced, I just took a screen shot of the denial, showed it at the lounge, and it worked out OK for me a couple of times. Canā€™t beleive it is still a problemā€¦.
