MEL J lounge has two food counters. You order and collect hot food on the left. Cold food is available on the right. They did not have a sample of the two hot food options on display but this is what I received.

MrsDaver6 was in the regular QP lounge this morning in PER. This is the situation in the Republic of Western Australia. Help yourself but there is a person with hand sanitiser and makes sure you it. Pancake machine is missing though but barista station running as normal

The lounge MEL 12/01 at 06:30 was like a cemetery. The barista was very friendly but needed more customers to fill her time.

With these open 1hr before each Qantas flight to last Qantas departure:
* Do these include Qantas Link - presume don't include any Jetstar?
* If there was a gap of 2hrs between Qantas departures, do they close the lounge for an hour?
* If they close the lounge between departures, can you still enter the lounge when it is open for an earlier flight, then leave to sit out in the terminal and reenter when it reopens?

1. yes for Qlink, no for JQ
2. in smaller airports, yes they do close, and you're asked to leave ( from experience in TSV and MKY ) BNE no.
3. Yes, have done this.

Thanks for this, need to turn up to ADL about 4/5 hours before a flight, if it stays open the whole way through, great, but no biggie if I have to leave for an hour in there because of a 2 hour gap in QF departures.

Fairly certain ADL doesn't close until the last QF departure, regardless of gaps during the day. It's a big lounge.

Does anyone know what the current state of play is for lounge access for the Qatar flight leaving Adelaide. Any clues on getting someone access to the lounge before the flight next week?

The oneworld rules should still apply for J.

ROK remains closed?
was there on Wednesday, Due to open in March.
The airport renos are looking good, new security scanners, and toilets airside that remind me of those in the USA, no touching anything to flush.

From the ADL QP from MrsDaver6 around 6pm. No help yourself. Staff serve you. Reckons food is better than it was during normal times. Blood delicious was used.

Also notes no one in the lounge is bothering to wear a mask. Not sure what the airport requirements are in ADL, but seems crazy that you have to wear one on a flight but not the lounge.

Interesting, last week in Launceston terminal everyone was masked up but outside, coach trip to Hobart and around Hobart there were no masks anywhere .

Looking forward to it over the Australia Day long weekend if I do I end up going and I'll also look out for mask wearing...
