Yea, but QF has a much higher degree of loyalty and corporate business than DJ. I too am suprised about their lack of action - BUT as the OP pointed out, DJ are about to make an HUGE announcement concerning Velocity, some people are even saying Star Alliance!
You probably need to fly Virgin Blue a few times, use The Lounge etc to get a better understanding of what the airline is like and who regularly flies with them. We're not all wearing boardshorts, t-shirt & thongs, taking a pre-packed lunch and heading for the Sunshine Coast. :rolleyes:

I do that on Qantas! Then again I live in Darwin - most of the passengers are dressed like that.
