Qantas 'My Platinum News'

Just wondering if anyone else just received this, the first edition of the 'My Platinum News', seems to be a copy of the P1 briefing but for those of us lesser WPs

Has my most traveled aircraft over the 12 months as a B737 and a competition for a First class flight for you and a guest to Singapore for 5 nights (+AU1500 spending money) to experience the Singapore F lounge when it opens

Not much really to get excited about.
It’s a nice prize for the Singapore first lounge so I put an entry in.

13 A380 flights for 161,254km for me. Have also entered the comp. I guess they are confident of the First lounge opening by Nov 26. Anyone know actual expected date?

I too was a bit bemused by their flight stats.
"Your highest flying aircraft over the last 12 months
You have flown on our Boeing 737-800 51 times in the past 12 months, clocking up 132,248 km onboard"
When I first read it, it sounded like I have clocked up 132,248 km on 737's, which I can assure you I haven't. Looking through FlightTracker, it was closer to 40,000km, as well as the dozen or so flights on Dash 8's and most of the km's on the A380

But, I did put in for the Singapore Holiday - that looks great.

I did fly a mix of QF (both domestic and international), JQ and CX...

And for me it's the Boeing 737-800 on 10 flights clocking up 91,000 km.
