Yes - didn't mean to imply he should be able to select them. Just that they're part of the Y seat map.

Interesting they're doing this for SYD-SFO but not MEL-LHR (only J in F seats).

Okay it seems QF is relenting on some routes.

Don't know how reliable this site is??

Hi, we had award seats in F, for Mel /Hkg/ Lhr for April 25th and recieved a call from Qantas to offer the option of J seats or changing to A380- QF09 Mel/Sng/Lhr in F. No prizes to what we accepted :)

I believe there are F seats with J class service for MEL-HKG-LHR.

I'm not sure that is accurate. The information given above is for up to 6th June. After that date, Qantas may not have even decided whether to put F back in place.

I suppose one could take the statement "No F cabin service from 12APR10 to 06JUN10" and assume that F is returning on 7 June 2010 - although that probably isn't the wisest thing to do based on previous extensions of the no F routes.

Although, Qantas are selling F after 6 June... but doesn't mean they won't have to re-accommodate those pax later.
