But there are some very important tips you always need to be aware of when using
a) the tracker and b) the Qantas shopping mall.
Some purchases from June just credited last week, looks like maybe that partner only verifies purchases once a month for the 3 months prior i.e. all purchases form June posted 15 September, so I'm curious to see if my 5 purchases in July from them post 15 Oct.
Depending on the store returns policy it can take a few months or more for points to be credited.
Install the Qantas Shopping Points-Prompter, a free tool for your desktop browser that alerts you of points-earning opportunities when you're shopping online. It's the ultimate hack to help you never miss out on earning up to 13 points per $1 spent.

QF is taking longer but they do say some can take up to 90 days (!) to credit.
I won't be biting as I'm concerned about the possible privacy implications of installing something like this. If Qantas clearly explained how they collected and used your data to provide this service, I might be more comfortable - but I can't see any information about this tool in their Privacy Policy.
The privacy policy states "The Qantas Shopping Points-Prompter does not retain or share any of your data, including your browsing history." So it sounds like it's solely tracking if the site you're on matches one of their earning retailers. You're also able to switch off auto tracking so that you have to manually check if the site you're on is affiliated with Qantas Shopping.500 points here, but I also won't be installing. As far as I can tell, it looks at everything you are browsing, and is triggered when there is a match - but where else does all that data go? I'm not that big on 'privacy', but this seems too much - or maybe too much more.
