Came across this on the Qantas website:

If you have a Qantas international ticket into Australia, you can get various discounts on tours, activities, museum entries, etc. at popular tourist attractions around Australia. It includes the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, Qantas Museum in Longreach and dozens of other things.

The offer seems to expire on 30 June 2024.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes, sorry, I was talking about the promo video.
Yeah, but to be fair, most of the kind of tourists that would by default head to Sydney, I wouldn't be too keen on seeing around Melbourne anyways...

I'm amazed that I have never heard of this and yet it's apparently been running for almost a year...!

Validity / Eligibility for Qantas Passenger Perks Experiences

Eligibility:
1. You can book 1 or more Qantas Passenger Perks offers if you are travelling between May 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024 inclusive on an international Qantas marketed flight(s) into Australia.

Used the perk for a group of 14 climbing the bridge last year, which saved a decent chunk of cash.

I will also quietly highlight that no one at that attraction asked to see any evidence of a QF booking… (although we did have QF international flights into and returning back out of Aus, so could have shown it if asked).

I went to use the discount last week for the QF founders museum as I remembered that was an option from last year, but then also remembered that it had to be in concert with a QF international booking. Oh and I was flying VA. 😏

To Emerald?
To ROK, on a little Fokker (Alliance).
Have then driven out here to Longreach. Stopped at Blackwater outbound and will stop at Emerald when heading back.

FR24 shows only a single QF Dash8 into LRE today, doing the BNE-BCI-LRE-BNE loop.

For any international visitors reading this, the QF Founders Museum is well worth using this perk on. If you can, making it to the Luminous Longreach show in the evening is also worthwhile, so try to get a ticket with that included.
