Qantas phone wait times

Only if you twiddled your thumbs for the hour and did nothing else. Other people will put their phone on speaker and still be productive with that hour multi-tasking.

I did manage to punch out a 1000 word uni assignment so all was not lost

I must be lucky... a month ago & last week got through basically straight away and today was on hold around 5mins.

I called up at 1.30pm today and was given an option for a call back without losing my spot in the queue (apparently call wait times were 1 hour+). No call back since (been 4 hours).

I just called back now and apparently wait times are still 1 hour+. I was not given an option for call back.

Should I wait? I don't want to be like this pax Qantas passenger's 15-hour call wait
