Qantas Platinum One experiences?

I've asked two other P1 I know and they also haven't received that email. Strange. Maybe it's by batch depending on ALL current membership level?

From other threads looks like it's a time limited 1-stay challenge to get the Plat status; so would definitely not be applicable to me given I'll have that status for the period already. So if the systems are properly linked then no point me getting an email I guess.

The T&C in the email specify (the Plat offer) is for P1 (and CLP1) who receive the email - implying it was targeted and potentially not open to all. Further it went on to say the registreation link was a one use only one, so if you forwarded it to someone else and they used it then you couldn't. It was quite specific...

Anyone here with a membership year starting August 1 could indicate if the QF SC component of their maximum 1,800 SC rollover is actually being counted as QF SC? I'll probably end my year with ~2,500 QF SC and just wondering if they will count as 1,800 QF SC after rollover or only count as 900 Oneworld SC for P1 requalifying.

It does not show as qf SC for me either. Someone replied to my query on another thread that the p1 counter has a glitch and should be okay at the end of the year. I'll be looking for someone to post that happened for them.

Logically they should count otherwise you get half the benefit of 1800 SC rollover.

I can confirm it’s not working on my account. None of my rollover count are counting towards P1 and have found another glitch as well. SC on Award Flights for Points Club haven’t been counting towards the 2700 either.

By contrast I have a colleague who has over 2000 SC this membership year, has never been P1 but their rollover SC are counting towards the 2700 for making P1.

This a new one for myself, when entering the QF lounge in MEL today I asked if arrivals access is currently available (needed in a few weeks). The lounge argent who was looking at the boarding pass (on my phone) proceeded to say arrivals access is only available if I was QF WP or P1 and looking at your pass you seem to have OWE with another carrier. When I mentioned that the boarding pass says I am P1 she said you will be allowed in. I was left wondering how can it be that a QF lounge staff member cannot even recognise a QF boarding pass

Finally I've received the ALL Accor Platinum fast track offer yesterday. Maybe they decided ti fix a few bugs before emailing everyone. My two other P1 colleagues also received invitation yesterday.

Simple. Last week she was a manager. :)

I received the offer when it came out and stayed at an Accor property last night, now I will wait and see how long it takes to kick in.

I checked out from an Accor property yesterday and my status has now updated to Platinum and 60 nights credited.
I also checked out yesterday and when checking to day have been upgraded to Platinum through to Dec 23. With the 2 suite upgrades I may have to look at some travel plans to work out the best use of these.

"So if the systems are properly linked..."😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Have had 10/15m wait on phone this past yr. which is very unusual....might have to give some of those managers from baggage handling a phone an BT headset to multitask :p
