Annual? First time I've received this and now almost ten continuous years at WP..

I do like how their magazines have always glamourised travel. I wish they've produce one about the reality of most Qantas Frequent Flyers:
- Journeys by taxis with drivers that won't shut up
- Queuing and then waiting for the queue to wait.
- Delays and figuring out alternative arrangements
- Hotel rooms and the the joy of avoiding $15 cans of soft drink
- Meetings that question why you left home at all

I wish they've produce one about the reality of most Qantas Frequent Flyers:

Let's make them Qantas specific

- Waiting for your priority luggage to appear on the carousel after 200 bags have already appeared
- Force closing the Qantas app to get it to refresh or show a boarding pass
- Gritting your teeth, smiling and nodding through some awkward/overly scripted CSM greetings
- HUACA several times until you get Hobart

This is so true lol 😂

Any word on the P1 Christmas Gift this year (champagne or gin?)
I have heard it was apparently to be back to bubbles and not the gin.

However, it's getting on a bit for the notifications of packages to go out (Or I am back on the Sendle list :p ) so one starts to wonder. Perhaps they will start this week....

Last year, I (and many others) received their gift around 13/14 December so this week is my money

Took my first flight post reaching P1. SYD-ADL in Y. Received an upgrade to J but only realised when I looked at the app on the bridge. I don't remember hearing any special tone at boarding. Got a nice 'welcome to P1' greeting from the CSM.
That’s nice indeed especially rare to get an upgrade from zero points upgrade the welcome to P1 is fairly scripted imho I always smile back knowingly. Thanking them for the effort.

G'day All

I achieved P1, which, is nice, my first time. I am a big fan of wine and was going to take up the offer for the $100 voucher. No idea where to find some email or promo code saying this is it. Do I contact VIP or can I find it in the app or someplace else?

My QF Xmas PJs arrived tonight.
A lot of chatter on the socials about AusPost Notifications etc.
None for me, these just turned up unannounced, but very welcome 🤗
I got them too! My wife rolled her eyes and said 'more QF pyjamas 😆 Too bad it's too hot for them here in Sydney at the moment.

No notification about P1 Xmas gift though - hopefully not just the pj's!

Through a series of lucky events, this imposter has made it to the lofty heights of P1 off the back of a DSC family holiday (i.e. status run) to Bali. I ended my last membership year with around 2600 SC, and wasn't expecting Status Hold to carry those SC over and give me a stab at P1.

I also owe thanks to @elanshin for a double yolker, and JL for bringing the 777 to Sydney - IYKYK.

The benefit I'm most looking forward to is lodging CR and P1 priority upgrade requests for my extended family. I think I might have just missed the boat for any Christmas PJs/wine deliveries but you can't win them all.
