Same here. I have only got 60K QFF points so far. Now i have to wait for the remaining 15K before I can close this card.

Quick update, 60K and 15K+spending points of the month have been credited to my account today as 2 separate lines.

Yes got my 60K last statement and this statement has the 15K so I am happy now all is right.

Signed up for this one but just got the declined letter... bit bummed!

Spoke to a consultant last week about organising payslips etc and she seemed quite positive it would go through.
Going to give them a call tomorrow and see what's happened...

Interesting to see a higher than usual numbers of refusals.

As QF holds data on points earned from ‘banking’ or ‘cards’ as one of it’s categories, they can see big signup bonii coming into a QFF account. Also visible is a monthly point transfer (or lack of after the bonus). Wouldn’t this makes it pretty easy to spot card chuners vs. ‘genuine’ customers?

Tried to apply Sunday night but had issues, after calling in i found out they had maintenance going on which could have been affecting my app.
so i ended up applying yesterday morning, received a call last night from them basically saying they had received my docs and that they would be sent to the department to assess and make a decision. rather pointless although i guess it could be a service call more than anything. Anyway was approved 30 mins later.

I have a Citi Signature card already, although they have been sending me credit increases for a while. Also been churning about 4 cards per year for the last couple of years.

i did have 1 question though, i'm looking to redeem some award seats on QANTAS, i assume the taxes for these awards will count as QANTAS spend for the extra point per dollar and lounge passes?

finally, did anyone keep their lounge passes after cancelling the card?

Applied for this again after being declined late last year.

Instantly approved. No wait.

I'm nervous to go near this card after being declined late last year (I think Citibank have something against me for some reason!).

But now you've got me tempted!

But now you've got me tempted!

I had the virgin card at the time which is also issued by citi and someone said they do an internal check first. So maybe that was the reason why, it's worth noting when they declined me they never did a credit check.

But I thought it was weird this time I was auto approved without a wait or request for payslips.

My issue could've been related to the Virgin card too. I had applied for that a few weeks prior and got declined, so when I went for the QF card, Citibank obviously had me down as a 'no' regardless of an extremely good credit history and regardless of the credit limit (Virgin card was $15k but QF card was only $6k).

I might have the wife apply for the QF card and see what they do with her application.

I login now and it says application under review. I guess I should have taken a screen shot.

EDIT: Nope, declined because it was made within the 3 month period of the last application (seems I was early by a week). I gotta say this is a bit of a joke, you get a confirmation screen. Then find it's saying review the next day in the site, then I ring up and try and attempt to retrieve the application without an operator and find there's two applications, neither of which correspond to any reference number I have. So check with an operator and told it was auto rejected because it was within the previous 3 month rejection time frame.

Had I not actually dug into this, I would have been sitting around waiting for a card to arrive in 5 days based on the confirmation screen I received yesterday.

I'm about to churn over to this one but don't want to pay for an additional card holder so my wife can use it too..

Applied for this tonight and we'll see how long it takes.

PITA application that logged me out. Still, it meant I could get my documents together.

Android Pay/Samsung Pay functionality hasn't been enabled yet unfortunately.

THis card would be close to 100% perfect for me if it wasn't for the non points earning on payments government and similar organisations.
I didn't realise how many there were - eg post office, rates, electricity , water etc . They still charge a CC fee though - eg Qld Gov round 0.4%.
I could understand if they made an upper limit to avoid business card holders claiming huge amounts that were not personal .

You could probably get over that hurdle by adding the card to paypal and paying via paypal.
