One of the "benefits" of the Qantas Premier Platinum Mastercard is the 20% discount (for 2 people) once a year. Currently QF have a sale on Business Class Fares ex Darwin that work out to be cheaper than FLEX economy... HOWEVER this is not bookable on many of the flights ex Darwin - as they are Qantaslink branded Alliance flights.

Spoke with the Concierge team to make a booking and they advised the planes are Alliance and not eligible for the benefit - Only Qantas & Qantaslink are. I informed her that the planes are Branded Qantaslink - but there was no movement her end to offer the published benefit.

As most of the flights out of Darwin now are Qantaslink/Alliance E190's this isn't good news. All other promotions work just fine with these flights - ie: DSC.

I think who ever you spoke to just doesn't have a clue.
The operating airline is Qantas. Wetlease requirements really mean nothing in this respect, and it's not a codeshare.
Call and see if you get someone else.

I agree - but the agent, couldn't proceed - she said "I tried to make the booking for you" but she couldn't proceed - Qantas Money has different system for making bookings..??
I lodged a complaint - but nothing heard...

Qantas money wouldn't be Qantas for the booking AFAIK - I'm sure they would use some kind of travel agent. Could possibly be wrong though.
