Has anyone had a go at applying for this with an income under $200k (say something like $180k)?

I recall other cards with high income thresholds being a little bit flexible but I haven’t read anything about this one
Did you end up finding out an answer to this. I also wonder if income is checked as exclusive of things like superannuation

Opened the App today and it said "This Account has been Cancelled"

I haven't cancelled it.

I phoned the number on the card and the CSA said it was a "known issue" that was a function of routine maintenance taking place. Her advice was to "give it a rest for 24hrs" and then delete the App and re-install it.

I've checked the website and it is also giving the erroneous cancellation message.

A broadcast email might have been nice ......

Yeah - I’ve just gotten used to the fact the app will either not log in, not function as intended, or not show the right data when it does. Pretty ordinary, all things considered!

How long does it take to credit the bonus SC in experience? Still waiting for the Titanium + DSC from a week ago.
Some bad news on this front, I'm afraid... I've just been through a process of following up some Premier Ti 20% Bonus SCs from flights in July, and QFF are now adamantly saying that will not be adding these for me - even manually - where the same flights were credited with bonus SCs under 'other SC promotions', such as the DSC promotion (which these flights were).

In the past, I have claimed from QFF and been credited the additional 20% SCs against the base earn, without issue (aside from needing to contact them to get it done), however they look to be tightening things up, referring to terms and stating this is how it will be.

I'll need to weigh up whether there is still a benefit for us in retaining the card, if this is the case, as it was probably the last noticeable benefit for us. We have been able to cover all/most of the fee through fare discounts, but if we don't get use from the F lounge passes, and most of our QF bookings are not eligible for bonus SCs as they are made during DSC promos or are CRs, then a break-even position on the annual fee is not really worth it.

Cheers,
Matt.

I just wanted to double check as I had been considering this card. Can I clarify, if tickets were purchased during a double status credits promotion, you don’t get the 20% additional SC’s on the base earn. (As the double credits are seen as bonus status credits already?)

Yes - in the past I had gotten both, so base + base (DSC) + base x 20%, for a total of 2.2x base on flights during DSC, however with this latest claim they have denied the Ti bonus as ineligible. So now it’s going to be 2x during DSC, and 1.2x at other times.

Cheers,
Matt.

Damn,

I was about to call up and chase this. I didn't receive them from my BNE-SYD flights which were DSC but did for BNE-MEL which wasn't. DSC awarded after a week. Titanium 2 days after flights.

I spoke to the FF call centre. At the time I was Gold but not sure if that makes a difference.

When I called, I said I have two Titanium passes that I wanted to use when travelling with my travel companion, we are on the exact same flight but we are on different bookings/reference numbers. I then asked could they please link it for me. They put me on hold to work out how to do that and then that’s when they came back and said that they would need to escalate to another support team who would configure my account within 24 hours to allow me to transfer one pass. (I didn’t ask them to let me transfer it - sorry my initial response skipped straight to how it actually happened in practice).

I would try again if I were you. I suspect any use of the word “transfer” would elicit a computer says no response. Plus the FF call centre is one where it is often possible to get multiple different answers to the same question.
Well, I waited a month and gave it another shot ....

Titanium Concierge transferred me to QFF who transferred me to Reservations who transferred me to QFF at which point I gave up

They were insufferably useless.

Couldn't merge the two bookings into one; wouldn't link my second pass to my wife's booking (and, as per your advice, never uttered the word transfer ;) ) which pretty much left us with nowhere to go. The staff are so poorly trained - at one point she told me to just buy a pass to the F-Lounge for my wife .

The card is of questionable value at best and this sort of inflexible nonsense (my wife and I are self evidently travelling together) makes the whole proposition just that little bit less worthwhile

I had to have them email and sort it out directly with the LAX lounge. Wasn't in the system but the LAX F host knew we were coming. Voucher manually deducted.

It was an awful experience. Then they didn't apply it for my travel companion on the same booking - WTH. So had to do it all again.

Are they this incompetent with the home loans also?

With this card are you supposed to get two QF F lounge passes and two QF J lounge passes or just the F ones?

And how long after hitting the minimum spend in the first year do the bonus points generally credit to your QFF account?

Thank you.

With this card are you supposed to get two QF F lounge passes and two QF J lounge passes or just the F ones?
Yes - well, kind of... You will receive 4 lounge passes in total - 2 x QF F lounge invitations, and 2 QF general lounge invitations, which can be used at QF International Business lounges, but not at the domestic business lounges, it's only the Qantas Clubs, domestically.
And how long after hitting the minimum spend in the first year do the bonus points generally credit to your QFF account?

Thank you.
They credited my bonus points after the statement period in which the minimum spend was acheived - which was in the first period, for mine.
And while we’re asking, how long after opening the card do you receive the F lounge invites?
Mine were available soon after approval and set-up of the account.

Cheers.
Matt.
