Hey guys,

Just wondering which websites do you do a screen shot of to do the price match for dom. Cant really find something cheaper than on the qf website except zuji etc dont charge CC fee, and QF do, which i assume, is not grounds for price match therefore CC fee refund and 1000 points.

Obviously int tickets are different, much easier to price match.

What has been your experience?

They need to be a .com.au web page too, which makes it real hard to match. It seems to be a pretty solid guarantee and I haven't found cheaper accommodation, flights or car hire yet ... Yet!

My experience is the credit card fee is part of the total price and grounds for the price promise to be enacted. I've done this a couple of times on hotel bookings. I used the Virgin website as my comparison point as there was no cc surcharge. That was the only difference in price. I got the cc fee refunded and a 1000 points. Done this twice now.

I suggested to QF that they just scrap the stupid cc surcharge and save themselves the hassle. Clearly, they figure people are just too lazy.

For hotels you might get away with it (as the hotel T&Cs don'r cover it), but for flights the credit card fee is excluded from the comparison.
