Yes I think it is Ay not Sk ;) ps I can only go by what he told me as I have not even seen the eticket...he asked for advice as despite multiple calls to Qf, they have not fixed the long transit at Hnd..the first agent allegedly put in a request to Jl to release an award seat the following day but nada since..his wife is travelling with his 5 yo so not keen on the long Hnd transit

I have a RTW owa ticket and all ticket numbers come up in CMT bar one Iberia leg of a three leg married journey going from SJO to HEL.

SJO - MAD (no option for passenger information on CMT) Iberia
MAD - LHR (eticket no. in passenger info) BA
LHR - HEL (eticket no. in passenger info) AY

Think this warrants a call or email? I’ve had several time changes along the way and have been issues e-tickets as soon as the changes have been accepted on Qantas App MMB. I have called and Fiji said it’s all good but to trust them or not is always the question…
 
Thanks to this thread I discovered a domestic JQ domestic award flight (combined with a QF Link flight) was not ticketed from booking a few weeks ago. I sent the email address an enquiry last night about it and received a response and a confirmation at 10am today. Less than a 12 hour turn around time!

Sounds like Iberia might have picked up your name differently. Try deleting it from CMT and readding it with a different variation. Probably something to do with your middle name if you have one.

If there's a second passenger on your booking. Try their details
 
You can mix award and commercial tickets on the same PNR. Award and award can be done too in certain circumstances.
that was not the query. I am flying on such a combo ticket myself this week :)

it was more including a stated SK reward booking in a QFF points reward on JL - SK not being a QFF partner for rewards. That was it. However if it was AY as kpc has suggested it may have been after all, that that all makes perfect sense :)

Yes you can mix but it's not advisable since the change and cancellation policies of the most restrictive portion of the ticket apply for the whole PNR.

thanks for the response. I had tried my wife’s name also and there was no luck on CMT either.

However, I got onto a helpful call centre member saying that an e-ticket has been re-issued and all flights are 100% ticketed. 5 minutes after that I received e-tickets with different numbers and checked CMT and all passenger info / ticket numbers were available and matched the new e-ticket. Strange scenario but appears that somehow there may have been an issue. Leaving in a fortnight so glad I didn’t get caught out last minute!

Completely incorrect I'm afraid. Each ticket has its own change/cancellation penalties and it remains that way whether it is in one PNR or not.

I am not referring to outbound award inbound commercial QF tickets. I am referring to ticketing say a LAX AA SEA commercial fare plus a LAX QF SYD award in the same PNR so that AA will through-check. Or another example, SYD QF SIN award plus a SIN SQ LHR commercial fare.

I see. Interesting. I did not know this could be done with non partners(in terms of rewards, not full commercial of course) :)

QF and most other carriers will through-check to just about anyone they have an interline agreement with provided it's all in one PNR, regardless of whether it is award or commercial. QF to SQ, QF to NH, QF to AC, QF to LH, QF to LX, QF to OS, QF to DL etc. QF can even print SQ/NH/AC/LH/LX boarding passes and you can use the transfer bus eg. in SYD.

sure, interlining and through check I get.

I was pondering the notion of getting the one booking with non partner reward sectrors. In this case I was thinking PNR which was what I feel was being applied earlier.

I mean if one had two PNR's from two bookings, eg: MEL-SIN/QF, SIN-LHR/SQ reward and yes, I do believe QF will check in and internline in this situation where the next booking is a reward one (though that may or may not be only to oneworld) that's different.

I am thinking there's a core misunderstanding here (by me) or at the very least we're talking about two different things :)

Anyway I'm not trying to be some sort of pedant or cause an issue :) I'm more curious than anything.

This essentially is where my confusion, or rather query, sets in.

I guess a TA could set up a PNR as a "master PNR" (oh gosh, I guess we can't use that word anymore... "primary") that links to separate sub PNR's from each separate booking, ie a QF commercial booking, a SQ reward one, a car hire, etc

and that all makes sense.

I think my confusion was this being setup. I'm thinking you'd have to book the reward separately and then have that linked within the "primary" PNR that a TA might setup.

the way it was noted earlier, I interpreted it as say QF being able to sell a commercial fare AND then link in a non partner reward in (as opposed to, for example, QF mixing commercial and rewards in the same booking). I think now we're getting to being on the same page here of a TA combining everything into a single PNR?
