Qantas Red Planet

Completed 2 surveys today:

1. Project Lucky - 300 points for finance - around 20 mins.
2. Project Zork - quick 5 min survey on covid and recycling for 50 points

Happiny Tracker - about business finances. Asks for the name of the company where I work; seems a bit off? Rejected after I made up a plausible name.

Completed Project Impala for 100 points in 10 mins - about Victorian Politics, especially the Greens party

Project Trafalgar about banking and financial products. 25 mins, 200 points. Quite interesting and thorough. This was the one I received an email for, but when I clicked into Red Planet, there was another project there as well. This has happened a couple of times now.

The second was Tapestry Tracker, also about banks and financial services. 200pt but easier to do, but not terribly interesting. I think they the client might have been ING. Anyway, an easy 400 points earned tonight.

At times of trouble in world politics, I completed Project Guanxi (Guanxi = relationships in Chinese), which in general terms, this survey is about Australia's relationship with China in these troubled times for 150 points for 15 mins work.

Just completed project Trafalgar for 200 points. Supposed to take 20 mins but maybe I am slow, it took over 1 hour. All about banks and comparisons of their products. I think slanted at reducing bank branches and increasing more online products.

cheers

after a few months, I had received Cutiefly Tracker RECONTACT - Monash Covid monthly tracker again for 200 points

So I just got an email with the following...

"Dear xx_xx_X,

The Red Planet Panel is an independent online market research program established by Qantas and comprised exclusively of Qantas Frequent Flyers. We invite you to join and share your views on a range of topics including brands, products and services important to Australian businesses.

By participating in the panel, you can earn Qantas Points as well as a chance to win a share of 7.8 million points over the next 12 months.

Ten members will each win 500,000 points for completing two surveys by 31 July 2015.*

Twelve members will each win 50,000 points for completing at least one survey every quarter, to be drawn from 1 August 2015.^

Earn up to 300 points for every completed survey from 1 August 2015.

One member will win 1,000,000 points for completing six surveys by 25 May 2016.~

As always, your personal information will remain private and confidential."

Seems like an interesting new concept from Qantas in their seemingly ever expanding ideas to allow QFF's to earn points (e.g. Qantas golf club). I signed up to see if I can grab some points on the side by doing a few surveys.
Yup, seems like a good idea. However, you will most probably find that for 9 our of 10 surveys you will not qualify. I got tired of receiving the surveys and not being who they wanted to complete them. That suggested they don't need honest answers.

My strike rate is about 30% over the last few years. I don’t mind getting screened out at all, 15 points for very few clicks. Cheers skip
