After going nearly a month without any invitations, get 3 in 2 days. Go figure?

Screened out of the first 2, managed to get through the third, Project Auburn. Except for only 150 points, yet QF WP states he was offered 300?

Gets stranger by the day

I said it was a maximum of 300 - perhaps depending on how deeply one got in the (long) survey they were going to award different number of points?

So my latest email gave me the Auburn Group survey, max of 300 points and would take between 10 and 30 minutes.

Yes, I did see that, but I was only offered 150 from the beginning. Option of 300 was not mentioned.

Perhaps then they had already tagged you under their "we'll offer this group 150 points" and I was in their "we'll offer this group 300 points". Target profile marketing at its best. It doesn't have to make sense to us, only to them...

Boca I was offered 300 points for this one & would take 20 to 30 mins. After about 12 mins it ended abruptly & they gave me 150 points. I suppose for half they survey they are fair in giving half the points. It ended after about 3 or 4 adds were played for insurances & I had only seen a couple on the telly & not online or social media so my answers were taking then nowhere.

Just did Project Dial
It seemed very out of place to have a gay marriage question in the middle of it hidden in between questions about telecommunications broadband and mobile providers. Specifically if we are for or against gay marriage.
It was a required question you could not leave blank. I think that was a little poor form.

I was doing a survey for a different online survey panel and found a similar question in the middle of a telecommunications survey. I'm not sure what they are up to but I don't think it's a good idea to put in an off topic question either.

Just got Project Sentiment and was all the way up to the last question. Gave the same answer for all options (on a scale of 1-10 I gave a 5 as I was neutral about all of them having not dealt with any of the companies). "Failed" their automation test and got booted

Yes!!
the same thing happened to me. 85% of the way though and i was answering 5 as i had no feeling about any of those banks they were asking me. Then it kicked me and gave me 15 points. I felt cheated.

I'm now officially on the waiting list for the panel. I have no idea how often they take new members. It will be nice if I can get a couple of hundred points here and there from the surveys.

Colleague i referred few months back only got their first survey this week

Okay, that sounds like a good sign. It shows they are taking new members from time to time. I don't mind waiting a few months. I've got plenty of other paid online surveys to keep me busy.

Was just given Project Wall to complete, answered the first screen of Q's and booted out - easy 15 points
I had the same result. My screen said Survey completed after 1 question. As it was a two minute survey I though that was it. Nope, only 15 points. I have used the feedback form to ask for the full 50. I pretty well know my chances - in fact maybe I should start a survey! ;)

Had a "2 minute" survery; one question about my super fund and 50 points in the bank.

Yes!!

I sent a complaint. Nothing will come of it but I was annoyed.

Project Sentiment - didn't make it past the preliminary demographic questions.

Project Creator - hmmm ...

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately we have reached the quota target for this particular survey. In appreciation for your time and effort, you have received 1 point.

Time to try Project Margin for 150 points and is apparently only takes 15 mins - we'll see

Edit: sure enough, 3 questions in (sex, age and do I work in any of these occupations - which of course I do) and got a screen from Kantar TNS saying:

"There are all the questions we have for you today. Thank you for your time"

Then the usual screen from Red Planet:

"Thank you for being willing to share your opinions with us today. Unfortunately you don’t fit the criteria for this particular survey.

In appreciation of your time you will receive 15 Qantas Points and an entry into the next quarterly prize draw!

Due to a very high response rate to this survey, our system may be experiencing some delays. So please don't worry if your survey history or prize draw entries do not update immediately."

Again, 15 points adding to my QFF account - at least it's not going stale
