Qantas Removing Jetstar Flights

Digigng this us again because I don't understand Qantas searching and booking unless I am missing something. Searching DPS - MEL, business rewards and it is telling me there are plenty of reward seats (42,200 is a Jetstar business seat one way) but when you click on any of the days and use any of the filters there are no seats... is this normal misreporting on the site?

Looking at availability using the app, definitely see business award availability coming up on 25 Oct on both JQ 36 and QF46.

Edit: phantom availability only. Sorry

Thanks for the replies. Certainly seems to me the searching/display is broken - makes finding actual fares pretty annoying.

Same now in July. Qantas search engine is only showing Qantas flights, not Jetstar for Denpasar to Melb. Which is odd as they used to show both carriers flights. And annoying as have to check Jetstar site too. Btw, I must be the only person in the world who doesn’t have a problem with Jetstar. Always thought they have comfortable seats; and their planes for Asian flights are modern.

Horses for courses I guess. This year I’ve taken DPS-SYD on a QF 737 and SIN-MEL on a JQ 787 and definitely felt more comfortable on the Jetstar plane and would choose it again in preference to a Qantas 737. Both overnight. But of course the SQ 777 and EK 777’s I’ve taken during the day from SIN-MEL were more comfortable than either (although the EK flight was practically empty, when full not so great).

Jetstar award availability on DPS-MEL is plentiful from mid-August for me.

Once again, a friendly reminder that award availability is generally tighter in school holidays and closer to departure.

In the J seat search, Points plus Pay is enabled AND Reward Seats filter is NOT applied, so the website shows the cash fare when paid with (or partially) points.
In the Y seat search, Reward Seats filter is applied, so the website shows CR seats.
