Qantas reward bookings on Bangkok Airways

I'm unsure this is good value. PG fares in Y tend to be cheap.

I think I paid around $500AUD for 2 J fares USM-BKK.
PG has a monopoly for USM and precovid you would often have been paying more for economy than you did for business! Once tourism picks up again… if the Chinese and Russians ever come back… fares could well make the points seem a good deal :)

Does anyone know how much baggage you'd get on a Bangkok airways flight Classic Reward booking?

You'd get the same allowance as a standard Bangkok Airways ticket - 20kg for Economy and 40kg for Business class.

It appears it is now open for sale .... eg 10000 points + 100THB Bangkok - Koh Samui and other PG destinations
We travelled BA using Q points for economy classic rewards last year (coughet to Koh Samui and Koh Samui to Singapore). Great value (incl low taxes and charges) and excellent service and hospitality for a “budget” airline. Heartily recommend.

Agree. Fares to USM are really expensive given the bangkok airways monopoly. Points can be a good use on these flights.
