Qantas rewards Christmas flights

So the removal of the "where can I go?" function on the Qantas website is driving me INSANE!

I want to book a trip over the Christmas period (ideal dates 25/12/24 - 12/1/25), but it's impossible to see what my options for destinations are. From what I can see, there are not many flights with Classic Rewards during this period.

Any ideas for potential flights out of Aus that might have CR (economy) availability?

Suggest paying for one month subscription of seats.aero, then search the routes you’re interested in or do a broad search (e.g. set the destination to Asia - All major airports)

I'd say your chances of finding any reward seats over those limited Christmas dates are VERY slim with or without the map!

Maybe some might come up more last minute?

Some questions: From what origin city would you be flying out of? How many travellers?

At that time of year, it's always the flight to and from AU that is the hard part.

Onward flights from Asia to Europe etc offer better availability.

Do you have a rough idea where you would be interested in travelling to?

Are you open to options such as:

- Points one way, cash in the other direction
- Paid flight to asia then rewards flight to Europe

There's a fair whack of "classic plus" seats available to Seoul, Tokyo and Honkers if any of those strike your fancy. (Assuming SYD origin)
